You're invited to participate in the 18th Annual United Way's Days of Caring. Days of Caring pairs local needs with caring residents to improve Tucson and Southern Arizona one project at a time. Last year over 3700 volunteers completed 137 projects for organizations in need in our community. Invest in Tucson and Southern Arizona

Collective Impact Fund:

Funds are used where the need is greatest, in a way that’s most useful. Donating to the Collective Impact Fund transforms individual lives and brings long-lasting, systemic change to our community by focusing on the key, underlying issues. We fight for quality education, financial stability and healthy communities for every person in Tucson and Southern Arizona.

Your Collective Impact Donations at Work:

  • $250 - 110 volunteer hours provided to seniors in the community, helping them remain in their own homes.
  • $400 - 14 elementary school students with 12 new books to encourage summer reading and lessen summer learning loss.
  • $800 - successfully re-engage one student, who has dropped out of high school, into education and career pathways over the course of a year.
  • $1,000 - free tax returns prepared for 46 low-income families and individuals.

Helping the Working Poor AZ Charitable Tax Credit

Funds raised provide job-skill training, affordable child care, educational opportunities, emergency services and more to the working poor in our community. This tax credit is available for contributions to Qualifying Charitable Organizations, such as United Way that provide assistance to residents of Arizona who either receive Temporary Assistance of Needy Families, are low-income residents of Arizona or are chronically ill or physically disabled children residing in Arizona.
